An Archer's Prayer
Abigail T.
I release the string
The arrow glides off my bow
I look downrange and see it cling
dead center of the yellow ring.
I smile because this I know
‘twas not by my own strength
but the power of the One in control
Who knows where all my arrows go.
Finished now, I cheer with my gang
Made top three, we’re headed to state.
I remember to whom I give my thanks
The God who brought me this full length.
