The sun gazes upon the lush Earth,

her beautiful child.

The Earth begins to darken.

He stares as his loving mother disappears.

Overcome by loneliness, he begins to cry.

First a bite is gone.

Soon he is completely covered.

The sun weeps for her lost child.

Suddenly a small sliver of blue appears.

Growing and adding color

      until a lush sphere appears.

Rays of happiness shoot from the sun.

Her child has returned!
