A flowing stream reflects the moon

who wears a solemn stare.

A gypsy woman asleep.

Her steady breath, the only sound

in the bleakest of destinations.

The mighty king of the jungle suddenly appears.

His nose twitches in the crisp air, and his ears perk.

Does he notice the moon gazing upon him?

I cannot fathom how he can hear a sound on the wind.

A sound that I—or any human—could never detect.

The landscape holds its breath

as the lion moves along.

Human, nature together in harmony.
