I see the clucking hen gracefully lay an egg.

I see the tiny egg hatch,

     and a fluffy brown chick squeezes out.

I see the little creature

     carefully placed in the brooder by Mom.

I see how the baby grows before my very own eyes.

I see Dad carry him to the bustling coop.

Now, I see a new young hen laying a little egg. 

I see the cycle happen over and over and over again.
